Air Europa aims to establish itself as the airline that will unite traffic between Latin America and Europe. To achieve an expansion in its routes, in the last few months it has expanded its network in Europe and reached a remarkable development in North Africa. It incorporated four new European routes to Stockholm, Athens, Copenhagen and Alghero, and also reinforced its commitment to North Africa by incorporating Casablanca and Tunisia.
At the same time, Air Europa seeks to establish itself in Latin American markets. These new operational routes feed the transatlantic network of the company that this year has also been increased with Panama and Medellin and with a new route to Iguazú, home of one of the 7 Wonders of Nature.
The international expansion plan is based on the modernization of the fleet. In the last quarter of this year, Air Europa will incorporate three new Boeing 787-9, the most efficient aircraft in the market, capable of reducing flight time by 40 minutes. In addition, the new Dreamliners, which from next September are incorporated into the fleet, have the new Business class with which it will emerge in the sector.
