On May 16 the vietnamese government eased the restrictions on domestic tourism, in order to revive the sector devastated by the coronavirus pandemic. Ha Long Bay, one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, was the most popular destination chosen by local visitors.

In order to stimulate the local tourism demand at the New 7 Wonder of Nature, visitors who travel via the Ha Long International Passenger Port are set to be exempted from all entrance fees and port charges. A discount of 50% on entrance fees will also be offered for June and July.

Vietnam’s early response to stop the spread of the coronavirus was a success, the country only had 318 infections and zero deaths. This number will fasten the recovery of Vietnam’s economy, since it will be a safe place to travel to.
