According to South Africa’s President, Cyril Ramaphosa, from October 1st the country that hosts Table Mountain will reopen its borders as the country eases anti-coronavirus measures.

In an official statement, Ramaphosa declared that “we will gradually and cautiously ease restrictions on international travel, allowing travel into and out of South Africa for business, leisure and other travel with effect from the 1st of October 2020”.

Although some restrictions on movement and business have been gradually eased since June, the authorities declared that countries that have high infection rates may continue to be restricted.
