The country home to the Iguazu Falls, one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, was added to the list of international destinations that have obtained the Safe Travels Stamp granted by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC).

The recognition ensures compliance with the global hygiene and sanitation protocols that will contribute to the recovery of the confidence of international travelers.

The Minister of Tourism and Sports of Argentina, Matías Lammens, said that he celebrates “the initiative of the WTTC to provide tourists from all over the world with a travel experience focused on safety and quality of service throughout the value chain. The more than 10 protocols developed by Argentina for tourism are a sample of the work between the public and private sectors, as well as with the academic sector. Argentina is open for business and ready to receive travelers from all over the world ”.
