The government at the Lazio region announced the launch of a new campaign destined to attract more visitors to the home of the Colosseum, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.
The “More nights, more dreams” campaign was launched by Lazio’s governor Nicola Zingaretti as part of the new package of measures to restart the tourism sector in the region. The new strategy will invest €10 Million into granting free extra nights for travellers visiting Rome and surroundings from July 1: the package grants one extra free night for visitors booking at least three consecutive nights and two extra for those booking five nights.
The governor Zingaretti stated that “this incentive is aimed at tourists of all ages, allowing them to extend their holiday period and enjoy the sights that the region has to offer, while at the same time helping to boost the local tourism industry, which was harshly hit by the pandemic”.
