It is no news that the pandemic changed the way tourism was carried out, and countries  such as Vietnam -home to Ha Long Bay, one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature- are encouraging businesses to embrace the digital transformation.

In this sense, the national government launched a programme that will last until 2025 aimed at becoming one of the 50 leading countries in information technology through a digital transformation, especially destined to hospitality and tourism.

According to the Vietnam Tourism Association chairman, Vũ Thế Bình, it is “through digital transformation that tour companies could reach more prospective travellers, provide better care to customers, reduce costs and increase their business efficiency”.
