Even though numbers are far from pre pandemic levels, Italy’s Colosseum -one of the New 7 Wonders of the World- is showing a solid growth in the visitors arrivals that augurs a good future.
According to the most recent data launched by Rome’s department of Tourism, nearly 8 thousand tourists visit the Wonder of the World a day, almost half of the previous numbers.
With the aim of attracting more visitors, the colosseum has recently opened a new tourist attraction for visitors to have an even more complete experience: from the last days of June, people were allowed to visit the new 15,000 square metres of its underground tunnels.
