The country that hosts Ha Long Bay, one of the new 7 Wonders of Nature, announced a new flight connection with Moscow, inaugurating its first European destination.
From next July, the Vietnamese low-cost carrier VietJet will connect the Russian capital with the cities of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, and Nha Trang twice per week. The announcement of its first-ever non-stop services to Europe is the result of the relaunch of the airline’s international flight network to meet the rebound in international travel demand.
The announcement ceremony was carried out during the Vietnamese President’s official visit to Russia, and during his presentation, Vietjet Managing Director Dinh Viet Phuong stated that “Vietjet is ready to relaunch international services. We have invested in a modern fleet, and we will expand our intercontinental flight network in the coming time. I believe that Vietjet’s new services to Russia will again prove our commitment to offering top quality flight products and services.”
