According to the Braztoa 2026 Yearbook, the Iguazu Falls – one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature in the world (20% of Brazil and 80% of Argentina) – top the international ranking of the best-selling attractions in Brazil.

According to the publication, the attraction located in the state of Paraná ranks first among the destinations promoted for international visitors and the third in the national market.

The Iguazú Falls top the ranking of attractions most promoted by tour operators to foreign tourists and occupy the third place among the best-selling tourist attractions in the national market in 2025.

The list was published in the second edition of 2026 of the Braztoa Yearbook, edited by the Brazilian Association of Tour Operators (Braztoa).

In the international market, the Iguazú Falls lead the ranking of attractions most promoted by tour operators, ahead of destinations such as the Pantanal, the Sugar Loaf, Lençóis Maranhenses and the Christ the Redeemer. Among the attractions promoted in Brazil, the Iguazú Falls are located behind Beto Carrero World and Beach Park, being recognized as the main natural attraction among the best sellers in the country.

The study also positions Foz do Iguaçu as the second most promoted city for foreign tourists, only behind Rio de Janeiro. Therefore, according to the publication, both cities make up a pair of “global showcases” of Brazilian tourism, bringing together world-renowned icons and experiences with a strong visual and emotional impact.

The presence of the Iguazu Falls at the top of the international ranking underlines the importance of world-class natural attractions in the offers of tour operators. Recognized as one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature in the world, and Natural Heritage of Humanity, the Iguazú National Park represents a strategic asset to enhance the environmental heritage of Brazil, as well as to project the country internationally as a nature destination.
